The competition for information entry jobs is high. Whenever people do get that opportunity, they don’t leave, and that competition over easy roles leads to more issues for us remote employees. Companies understand that their information entry requirements are suitable for even the least seasoned of the on-line employees– including people who barely talk English. Therefore these companies are happy to outsource their data entry to people who want to work to get cents.
Although it’s absolutely true that there are once-in-a-blue-moon opportunities to earn a living salary doing data entry, those jobs are quite rare.
That being said, there are a handful of legitimate businesses out there.
